On August 2nd, 1993, I surrendered my life to Jesus and have been in recovery myself since then. At that time I knew that Jesus was the answer to continuing to live in sobriety and start my life anew. I knew that the Lord had called me to be a servant for other women going through the journey of recovery. As I continued to work with this population, I realized the necessity for women to have a safe place to lay their head, and be able to be still and truly know and fall in love with God. Over 16 years ago, I opened my first restoration house, Serenity Home. Throughout the years, I have opened and maintained 4 homes for women seeking refuge and recovery; Serenity House, Glory House, Hope Home, and Faith Home. After a battle with brain cancer, I closed the first 3 homes to focus on Faith Home and the women that it served. Our vision for Faith Home is to see women restored, living sustainably, and loving Jesus. My vision is to find women who are willing and able to partner with me to open more homes and see even more women restored, loving and honoring Jesus. Thank you for your support and interest in this ministry. We are always looking for people who can partner with us in doing this work and I encourage you to consider donating or volunteering if you feel called. Please pray for Faith Home as we work alongside women and families , not only tackling recovery, but falling more in love with the person of Jesus Christ.
